Welcome our newest little lady!  We went to Ouachita National Forest to pick her up with Triple O Ranch Horse Sanctuary.  There were three horses all together that needed to be helped.  We had room for one and they had a home for the other two.  They had been set free to fend for themselves when a couple of ladies found them about 6 weeks before finding Triple O.  There is no telling how long they had been roaming when the good Samaritans gave them a place to stay.  Our girl was fairly easy to lead and awesome to load.  She has good body weight and good feet, but tons of ticks.  We are working on correcting this problem and giving her some ground manners, especially at feeding time.  She needs a name, so we are taking suggestions.  Let us know what you think!
